Women’s Lacrosse Selected Sixth in NACC Preseason Poll

MEQUON, Wis. – On Thursday afternoon, the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) unveiled its 2026 Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll, and the Falcons are once again projected to be in the hunt this spring in conference play.

The preseason poll is voted on by the NACC women's lacrosse head coaches along with the sports information directors from the institutions that sponsor the sport.

The Falcons are projected to finish in sixth place with 98 points.

Lake Forest College is the preseason favorite with 198 points and 18 first-place votes. Aurora University sits in second place with 178 points and one first-place tally. LFC cruised to an undefeated NACC season in 2025.

Edgewood University also received one first-place vote and was selected third with 159 points, while Cornell College was picked fourth with 129 points. Milwaukee School of Engineering rounded out the top five with 122 points.

Last season, the Falcons finished tied for sixth place in the NACC standings with a 4-5 conference mark. The Birds concluded the year with an overall record of 5-10.

The Falcons open the 2026 campaign on March 5 against Wentworth Institute of Technology in Texas.

NACC play is scheduled to begin on March 25 with a road contest at Aurora.
