ADRIAN, Mich. – The Concordia Wisconsin acrobatics & tumbling team put a bow on the regular season on Saturday at Adrian. The Falcons improved to 5-2 with a 213.135 to 170.290 victory over Adrian to complete the season sweep.
The Falcons opened the day with an early lead with 28.75 points in the compulsory event. The Falcons snagged a season-best score of 6.80 points in the acro heat.
The lead ballooned with 23.50 points in the acro event, where a season-best 8.25 points in the five-element heat highlighted the event.
Concordia elevated the lead even more with a season-best 28.10 points in the pyramid event. The synchronized pyramid scored a season-best 9.30 points.
CUW finished with 23.30 points in the toss event on Saturday.
The birds continued to build a bigger lead with 40.025 points in the tumbling event. Freshman Kirsten Bailey scored a season-best 7.075 points in the six-element pass.
The Falcons finished the day with 69.46 points in the team event to put away Adrian.
On the day, the Falcons posted a higher score in 14 heat and five events.
Saturday also had four season-best scores.
The Falcons will return to action in April at the NCATA Division III Invitational in Marshall, Texas.
