Football Secures Four NFF Hampshire Honor Society Selections

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin football team earned national recognition for its excellence in the classroom, as four Falcons were named to the National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society.

The prestigious honor recognizes senior and graduate student-athletes who made a significant impact on the field while maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 or higher throughout their careers.

Concordia Wisconsin was represented by seniors Kyle Bortz (Viera, Fla.), Tyson Fish (Algonquin, Ill.), John Kutner (Mukwonago, Wis.) and Jason Leonard (Tampa, Fla.). Each played a key role for the Falcons this past season, while also demonstrating a consistent commitment to academic success.

The recognition reflects the program's continued emphasis on developing well-rounded student-athletes, as the Falcons once again placed multiple players among the nation's top academic performers in college football.
