MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's tennis team placed two student-athletes on the All-NACC Tournament Team, as sophomore Ruth Dolde and freshman Abigail Haley were recognized for their strong postseason play.
Dolde delivered a dominant 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 2 singles against MSOE in the quarterfinals. She also contributed at No. 3 doubles with a 6-4 win over the Raiders and pushed Illinois Tech to a tiebreaker battle in the semifinals.
Haley was equally impressive, earning a pair of convincing victories against MSOE, including a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at No. 3 singles and a 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles. In the semifinals against Illinois Tech, Haley and Katelyn de Guzman held an early advantage in doubles play before the Scarlet Hawks rallied to secure the point.
Illinois Tech claimed the tournament title, led by Most Valuable Player Maddalena Elisa Rosati Dumangane.
Edgewood was represented by Lauryn Krober and Evelyn Taylor and St. Norbert had Allison Unverzagt and Anna Vechart.
