Falcons Show Growth Throughout 2025-26 Men's Golf Season

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin men's golf team completed the 2025-26 season after competing in tournaments throughout both the fall and spring schedules, highlighted by a top four finish during the spring campaign and a strong showing at the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championships.
 
The Falcons opened their fall season on August 29 at the Edgewood Culver's Fall Classic. Concordia finished 14th in the team standings with a two-round score of 628 strokes. Ray Baldus paced the Falcons, tying for 25th overall after carding a 150 over the tournament. 
 
Conference play highlighted the remainder of the fall as Concordia competed at the NACC Championships. The Falcons concluded the championship in eighth place with a team score of 977 strokes. Dylan Smith turned in the team's best individual performance, tying for 16th place to lead the Falcons against the conference's top competitors. 
 
Following the winter break, Concordia opened the spring season at the New College Spring Invitational. The Falcons produced one of their strongest performances of the year, finishing fourth in the team standings with 1,034 strokes. Baldus once again led the way, placing 11th individually to help Concordia earn its highest team finish of the season. 
 
The Falcons concluded the 2025-26 campaign at the Viking Spring Invite, where they finished eighth with a team score of 635 strokes. Smith closed the season by leading Concordia with a 22nd-place finish after recording 156 strokes over the tournament. 
 
Throughout the season, Baldus and Smith consistently paced the Falcons, providing strong individual performances in both the fall and spring. Concordia's fourth-place finish at the New College Spring Invitational demonstrated the team's progress throughout the year, while valuable experience gained during the NACC Championships provided another step forward for the program.
