CLINTON, Ill. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's triathlon team opened the weekend at the Millikin Splash and Dash on Friday night. The Falcons finished in fourth place as a team with 68 points. Northern Kentucky of NCAA Division I claimed the team title with 125 points.
The race consisted of a 500-meter swim and a two-mile run.
Sophomore Keira Elliott (Andover, Minn.) led the flock in 11th place at 25:18.
In 15th place was senior Nora Triller (Hartford, Wis.) at 25:45.
Junior Sydney Morgan (Brandon, Wis.) secured 17th-place honors at 26:12.
Junior Anya Mattke (Fox Point, Wis.) crossed the finish line at 26:28 in 18th place.
Junior Cadia Sanders (Joppa, Md.) stood in 20th place at 27:11.
Senior Darya Gunderman (Minneapolis, Minn.) clocked in at 28:14 in 22nd place.
The Falcons posted a back-to-back finish in 24th and 25th place with junior Chloe Lemoine (Richfield, Wis.) at 28:44 and freshman Allison Triller (Hartford, Wis.) at 28:44.
The Falcons will rest up and compete at the Prairie State Cup on Saturday morning.
