When out on the hardwood there rose such a clatter—

It was Landers again, claiming honors for the seventh matter.

The pride of Cedarburg, Wisconsin, put on a holiday show

Scoring 20-plus points three times – saying ho ho ho

Defenses from Dominican, La Crosse, and Calvin all knew,

Stopping the CUW star was not something they'd do.

He was dressed in Blue and White from his head to his foot,

His 26 rebounds left defenders covered in soot.

He sprang to the lane, giving whistles to the team,

As 20 made free throws stung defenses like a bad Christmas dream.
