MEQUON, Wis. – The honors poured in on Tuesday for Alex Kuntz. Kuntz claimed multiple All-Region honors from the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and D3baseball.com. He was voted to the Region 8 All-Region Second Team by both organizations.

A sophomore pitcher from Richfield, Wisconsin, Alex Kuntz is claiming all-region honors for the first time in his career.

Earlier this month, he was voted to the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) All-Conference First Team.

 He led the Falcons with 83 strikeouts, tying the program's single-season record, and posted a team-best 2.40 earned-run average.

 Over 48.2 innings, Kuntz allowed only 22 hits and 13 earned runs.

 He also set a program single-game record with 14 strikeouts in 5.2 innings against Bethany Lutheran.

Kuntz is the first Falcon to claim ABCA and D3Baseball.com All-Region honors since Sam Beers did so in 2021.
