MEQUON, Wis. – On Tuesday morning, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2025 Academic All-District Baseball teams, which recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined academic and athletic achievements.
The Concordia Wisconsin baseball team secured the maximum number of nominees possible with five, breaking the program record of four set in 2024.
Senior Zach Slome (Schaumburg, Ill.) is claiming the honor for the second year in a row.
The quartet of sophomore Alex Kuntz (Richfield, Wis.), sophomore Connor Lasch (Chicago, Ill.), senior Tyler Brandenburg (Saukville, Wis.), and senior Owen Burns (Morris, Ill.) are claiming the award for the first time.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First, second, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on July 1, 2025.
