MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its Student-Athlete of the Week honor for cross country for the first time this season on Thursday morning.
Ainara Sainz de Rozas claimed the honor after a vote by the conference's athletic communications professionals.
This is the fourth time in the senior career that Sainz de Rozas has claimed the honor. The Madrid, Spain native won the Tom Berry Invitational on Saturday, hosted by fellow NACC member St. Norbert College. The Spaniard completed the 5k race in 18:09.9, a new career best by over a minute.
The Falcons return to action at the CUW Cross Country Course on Saturday, Sept. 13th at 11 a.m. for the annual Ken Weidt Classic.
