Emma Ahrens Honored Again by the NACC

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) once again released its Student-Athlete of the Week honors for cross country on Wednesday morning. After another amazing race in Colfax. Emma Ahrens was voted as the NACC Student-Athlete of the Week for women's cross country by the league's athletic communications professionals.

A junior from Stephens City, Virginia, Emma Ahrens is capturing the honor for the second time this season and the fifth time in her career. This becomes the third time that she has collected the honor for cross country.

Ahrens posted a spectacular performance against some of the best runners in the nation at the Blugold Invitational.

She finished in ninth place in Colfax at 22:35.1

This is the third time that a Falcon claimed the honor. Senior Ainara Sainz de Rozas claimed the honor on Sept. 3. Ahrens becomes the first athlete to claim the honor on multiple occasions.

Ahrens and the Falcons return to action on Oct. 18 at the Wisconsin Private College Championships.
