MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) released its Student-Athlete of the Week honors for cross country on Wednesday morning. After another amazing race, Emma Ahrens was voted as the NACC Student-Athlete of the Week for women's cross country by the league's athletic communications professionals.
A junior from Stephens City, Virginia, Emma Ahrens is securing the honor for the first time this season and the fourth time in her career. She has now claimed the honor on two occasions for cross country.
Ahrens cruised to a career-best time at the Ken Weidt Classic.
She claimed her second Ken Weidt title with a time of 22:21.9. Her first title came from 2023.
This is the second time that a Falcon claimed the honor. Senior Ainara Sainz de Rozas claimed the honor on Sept. 3.
Ahrens and the Falcons return to action on Oct. 3 at the Blugold Invitational.
