WINONA, Minn. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's tennis team opened the spring season on Friday night at Saint Mary's. The Cardinals picked up a 6-1 victory to open the weekend.

Saint Mary's started the day with a victory on all three doubles courts.

Sophomore Katelyn de Guzman (Belvidere, Ill.) picked up the lone point of the day for the Falcons with a 6-4, 5-7, 10-8 victory at No. 3 singles over Aheli Patel.

The Falcons look to bounce back on Saturday against Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Northwestern.
