Women’s Track & Field Eyes the NACC Indoor Championships

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's track & field team will compete at the 2026 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday and Saturday in Ripon, Wisconsin.

The Falcons finished in third place at the 2025 NACC Indoor Track & Field Championships with 103.33 points. Kate Kotula (Wyomissing, Pa.) claimed the conference title in the pole vault.

Heading into the week, the Falcons rank in the top three in 14 locations. The Falcons have the top-three times in the mile with junior Emma Ahrens (Stephens City, Va.), senior Danielle Van Grinsven (Appleton, Wis.) and senior Melanie Arvis (Berwyn, Ill.). Melanie Arvis owns the fastest 5000-meter run time and Melanie Arvis is third, the duo also ranks first and second in the 3000-meter run. Sophomore Jacey Read (Carbondale, Colo.) has the third-fastest 60-meter dash time and Danielle Van Grinsven is second in the 800-meter run. In the 60-meter hurdles, Freshman Sophia Wunderlich (Greenville, Wis.) is third, she is also second in the triple jump. Kate Kotula is second in the pole vault and freshman Lydia Boehlke (High Ridge, Mo.) is third in the pentathlon. CUW also has the third-fastest 4x400-meter relay.

Concordia Wisconsin has claimed three NACC titles, winning in 2007, 2008 and 2009.

The championships will take place at the Willmore Center in Ripon, Wisconsin.
