MEQUON, Wis. – On Tuesday morning, the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) released its Three Stars of the Week honors for women's hockey. The Concordia Wisconsin women's hockey team was once again represented with Abby Hansberger.

A freshman forward from Elk River, Minnesota, Abby Hansberger is claiming the honor for the second time this season. She also claimed the honor on Jan. 20.

The pride of Elk River opened the week with the game-winning goal at Lake Forest on Tuesday.

She then scored a goal and an assist at Lawrence on Friday night.

The fantastic freshman then added two assists in the Saturday night victory over Lawrence.

The Falcons have now grown a program-best record of 10 NCHA Star of the Week selections this season. Hansberger joins Makaylan McGown and Gretchen Paaverud as the only Falcons to earn the honor twice, while Naomi Black, Carolyn Bourgeault, Eva Kingston, and Makayla Spejcher have each earned one recognition.

Gracia Munoz of Lake Forest and Kiera Stack of Adrian were the other two stars.

Hansberger and the Falcons return to action on Friday against No. 9 Adrian.
