MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) released its Women's Hockey Three Stars of the Week honors on Tuesday morning. For the third time this season a Falcon was honored.
A junior forward from Ottawa, Ontario, Naomi Black is claiming the honor for the first time in her career.
Black opened the weekend in Iowa with a goal on Friday night.
The pride of Ottawa, followed that up with her first career hat trick on Saturday with three goals.
The incredible two-sport star is the third Falcon to claim the honor this season. Joining the ranks of Carolyn Bourgeault and Makayla Spejcher.
Joining Black on the team are Macy Blooming of Aurora and Jasmine Kohl of Lake Forest.
Black and the Falcons close 2025 this weekend at Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
