MEQUON, Wis. – On Wednesday morning, the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its women's tennis weekly honors. Abigail Haley was voted as the NACC Student-Athlete of the Week for men's cross country by the league's athletic communications professionals.

A freshman from Frohna, Missouri, Abigail Haley claimed her first honor of her young career.

Haley posted a perfect 4-0 week in singles and doubles play.

At No. 4 singles, she sank Irene Multhauf of St. Norbert, Addie Prochazka of Wisconsin Lutheran, Serena Brunner of Lakeland, 6-0, 6-0, and Josephine Bruch of Marian, 6-0, 6-1.

She also went 4-0 at No. 3 doubles with sophomore Katelyn de Guzman. They took down SNC, 6-3, while posting 6-0 victories over Wisconsin Lutheran and Marina. The dynamic duo also won by forfeit against Lakeland.

Haley and the Birds will fly north to Minnesota for ITA Regionals in St. Peter on Friday. NACC play resumes Tuesday against Illinois Tech.
